Youth programs play a critical role in helping young people develop social, emotional, and practical skills. By providing a supportive environment where youth can grow, learn, and connect with their peers and mentors, community-based organizations create positive outcomes for both the individuals involved and the wider community.

• Ages 10-13:
• Personal hygiene and self-care.
• Effective communication and managing emotions.
• Ages 14-18 (girls’ home):
• Job readiness: resumes, interview skills.
• Financial literacy: budgeting and saving.
• Transition to independence: cooking, laundry, time management.
